Original 1227 Mini LED floor lamp - the perfect reading light The Original 1227 Mini floor lamp has enhanced the Anglepoise® range of flexibly adjustable lights since 2015. The original design originates from George Carwardine, the industrial designer who created a sensation in the 1930s with the development of the Anglepoise® work light. Before that, Carwardine designed vehicle suspension systems for the automotive industry. He made use of his knowledge about springs in his Anglepoise® light, which was suitable for everyday use, and equipped it with an innovative spring balancer mechanism which gave it the greatest possible flexibility with optimal balance. The Original 1227 Mini floor lamp combines all of this with a frame. The result is a light source that is ideal for reading and can, for example, be used in the seating area of the living room.
