From the 3D printer: copper-colored table lamp Flechtwerk The lampshade of the table lamp Flechtwerk is shade and frame in one, because the lamp is designed as a lying sphere lamp. The regular outlet pattern in the shade allows the light to shine into the room in such a way that it creates interesting patterns on the wall and ceiling. Besides design and light effect, one fact about this lampshade is mainly worth mentioning: It was produced in a 3D printing process and consists of old PET bottles. This kind of production is sustainable on the one hand because it is emission and waste free and on the other hand because it uses recycled material. At the end of its life, this material can be returned to the industrial cycle and recycled. It is just as hard-wearing and durable as similar conventional materials used for the production of decorative objects.
