Pendant luminaire Semi - a glittering classic of luminaire design The shade of the Semi pendant luminaire captivates both with its harmonious, concave curved shape and with a brilliant brass finish in which the entire shade shines. The brass tone lends the emitted light additional warmth. Thus the pendant lamp Semi supports a pleasant ambience - especially as a light source above a table. The design is by the renowned Danish designers Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup, who have been collaborating with the Danish School of Architecture since graduating in 1969. The successful design duo created watches and shop interiors for Georg Jensen stores; they designed the port facilities in Elsinore from urban planning to the ferry terminal and the Arcticum Museum in Finland. The pendant Semi is produced by the Danish company Gubi, which has been dedicated to the production of high-quality design products in the interior design and lighting sector since its foundation in 1967.
