Domenica - designer wall light with a break in style Some call it a break in style; others see it as a welcome distraction from the ordinary, from the commonplace - just like Sunday differs from the other days of the week as a “holiday”. “Domenica”, i.e. Sunday, is also the name of this Italian designer light, half of which is made of plaster, and half of which consists of a wire mesh. The plaster half has a fine relief. At the transition to the other half, it is designed as if pieces of the plaster have been broken off. The wire mesh stands in strong contrast to the conservative and classic-looking top half and embodies the modern, the exciting, the new, which bursts out of the classic, the old and the dusty. The two designers Luca De Bona and Dario De Meo designed the series Domenica for the Italian lighting manufacturer Karman.
