Snowdrop designer table lamp with hand-pleated white plastic lampshade The pleated lampshade of the Snowdrop table lamp is not only the hallmark of this series of lights, but also the hallmark of the manufacturer as a whole, which is known for its pleated lampshades. Around the middle of the last century, a Danish family of architects started a company producing handmade lampshades. A special pleating technique was used which to this day cannot be handled by machines. This is why the manufacturer’s lights continue to be pleated manually, including the Snowdrop table lamp. Each lamp is therefore unique. Le Klint, a Danish lighting manufacturer, combines traditional craftsmanship with modern production. To this day, some models from the early years of the company's history are popular lamps and even still best-sellers. The hand-pleated lampshades are manufactured in Odense on the island of Funen.
