On the one hand, the uplighter provides particularly cosy light which is exclusively directed upwards and is therefore indirect; on the other hand, the LED reading light provides the targeted light which can be individually directed to suit your individual requirements that is often missing in uplighters. You have sometimes leaned back in the sofa in the evening and picked up your exciting new book and then realised that the light provided by the uplighter is attractive and cosy, but your eyes get tired too quickly when reading.
