Also its telescope-like shaped lamp base made of high-quality stainless steel makes the lamp an unmissable highlight in the living room. The light is emitted diffusely and glare-free through the opal shade, creating a pleasant lighting atmosphere. Luminaires from the Pipistrello series have already won several design awards. The design was created in 1965 by Gaetana "Gae" Aulenti (1927 - 2012), who became known for her numerous works in the field of architecture and design.
