Firstly, the lampshade is arranged slightly lopsided or titled in relation to the base; secondly, Flapflap turns both categories upside down and appears bewildering at first sight. The floor lamp actually makes use of clear characteristics of a table lamp: a small, conical lampshade, standing on a short base in a baroque shape. But the light does not stop here. The cable coming out of the base is not just a cable, but serves as a pole which makes the light appear to float in the air. Flapflap is a series of lights which was developed for the Cologne-based lighting manufacturer next. Since 2000, the company has produced lights in Germany and guarantees not only high-quality light sources with its products, but also provides aesthetically appealing and unusual lighting works of art.
