Original table lamp Poul Poul made of paper

Dimmable designer table lamp Poul Poul - made by hand The table lamp brings a hint of the African savannah into your home, as the silhouette of the body of the light, along with its base, is reminiscent of an African ostrich. Poul Poul is part of the MaMo Nouchies series of lights which was developed by Ingo Maurer in collaboration with the designer Dagmar Mombach. The hallmark of this collection are the fascinating, organic paper constructions which are made by hand in Munich in multiple stages and in accordance with a traditional Japanese technique. The bulbous body of the table lamp Poul Poul is made of precisely this paper. When combined with the light which shines gently through the paper, the ribbed surface structure of the paper creates an effective play of light and shadow, heights and depths. This enables Poul Poul to guarantee an even, cosy light for living spaces and bedrooms, as well as for hotels and food service establishments. When it is turned off, the light remains eye-catching thanks to its shape in the form of an animal. The light is equipped with a cord transformer including a slide control, allowing the brightness to be variably adjusted. The paper is an untreated natural product, which means that small inlays and bulges can be attributed to the fact that it was made by hand and are a quality characteristic of the light. Every light is a unique peace which must be protected from moisture, extreme solar radiation and strong draughts. Energy efficiency class:A+
