Puppet designer chandelier Murano glass

A modern interpretation of a classic chandelier - Puppet Eighteen light bulbs and lampshades arranged on two levels of a crown - this description sounds like a pretentious and classic chandelier. A classic chandelier is exactly what inspired the Italian designers Michele Romani and Mauro Saccani to create this light, which was later given the name Puppet. However, they avoided the rigid, mostly S-shaped arms of a chandelier, instead simply using the cables running from the lampshades to the crown as arms. As the cables would naturally hang downwards and therefore the light bulbs would not be directed upwards as is usual with a chandelier, the arms had to be fixed individually to the ceiling with wire. It’s exactly this feature that makes Puppet a strongly personalisable lighting element. The diameter of the entire chandelier can be adjusted between 80 and 120 cm. But that isn’t all, the height of the lampshades can also be individually adjusted to a certain extent. Another special and high quality feature of the chandelier Puppet is the glass globes which function as lampshades for the G9 bulbs. These globes are handmade and come from the traditional Murano glassworks near Venice. On this island, glass products have been produced for many centuries, which are popular all over the world. The transparent, subtly topaz-coloured glass of the Puppet lampshades has a slightly shaded appearance due to the delicate striped pattern, which creates pleasant light. - With handblown, multi-layered glass Energy efficiency class:A++
