White floor lamp Silvia medium with a lampshade in an extravagant design The floor lamp Silvia medium does not act exclusively as a light source. Its unusual design makes it into a decorative interior design accessory which will shape the interior design style in a very special way. The lampshade - from the design team of the Danish lighting manufacturer UMAGE - consists of unbreakable triangular plastic leaves which have been put together to form a very organic-looking structure. The light is emitted both upwards and downwards through the gaps in the lampshade structure and lights up the surrounding area with a soft, cosy light. This is combined with the Champagne floor stand, which was designed by the young Danish designer Anders Klem and was given its name because it resembles a champagne glass, to create a floor lamp which is suitable for a number of interior design styles. The floor lamp Silvia medium is turned on via a decorative brass switch which is attached beneath the socket. The objective of the lighting company UMAGE with regard to its product line is to further develop Scandinavian design, to supplement its attractive purism and its functionality with careful craftsmanship and to do all this with consideration for environmental concerns.
