This is a Bright Source 240w LED corn light with a GES (E40) cap, ideal for replacing Metal Halide and SON lamps. This lamp is an ideal alternative to a 600w SON/MH, offering energy savings of 60% and a lumen output of 34,800 lumens. These lamps are often used in warehouses and factories as well as being used to light outdoor spaces in applications such as street lighting or in car parks and other outdoor areas. The 240w corn light has a colour temperature of 6000k meaning they are great for use in areas with CCTV coverage as this gives off a crisp white colour rather than the yellowy glow of a SON lamp. They have an average life of 50,000 hour, over three times longer than a SON or Metal Halide lamp, significantly reducing maintenance costs.
