The shade made of white porcelain is modelled on traditional Asian lanterns. The highly oval shape is provided with vertically running meridian lines and has a light opening at the bottom. The metal structure consists of two arms crossing at right angles and two round discs, one of which serves as a cap for the shade and one as a wall bracket.
