It's innovative burn technology ensures efficiencies of up to 86% and exceeds the new Eco Design standards and Defra exemption limits; allowing wood to be burnt cleanly in smoke control areas. As thoughtful in style as it is in function the Skye has a refreshing design aesthetic; classically minimal with landscape proportions and a soft modern edge. The Charnwood Skye 7 innovative combustion system ensures it burns exceptionally cleanly with outstanding efficiency and sets a new benchmark for stoves. It has heat efficiencies of over 80% when burning either wood or smokeless fuel and produces low smoke emissions that place it well within the new European Eco Design standards and UK Defra limits. This Charnwood Skye 7kW Ecodesign Stove has an external air spigot for use in modern airtight homes. Suitable vents and ducting are readily available from all good DIY stores.
