Design by Jette Scheib: Suspension lamp Oyster Two metal rings woven with cotton threads are the basis for the extraordinary lampshade of the pendant lamp Oyster. Its name is not entirely wrong, because it reminds one in an abstract sense of an oyster. The pearl in the middle of the lamp is represented by the bulb, which is hidden under a round cover. This disc ensures that the light from the bulb does not cause glare. The designer of this lamp series, Jette Scheib, seeks inspiration in her surroundings, people and their behaviour towards each other as well as in their handling of objects. She designs lamps that are not only functional, but above all create a cosy atmosphere and have personality. Jette Scheib studied in Berlin at the University of the Arts and lives and works today in Barcelona. Energy efficiency class:A++
