Suspension lamp Lamella with white shade and gold-coloured details The Lamella pendant lamp has a soft but very striking silhouette. With its lamella-like structure, the shade evokes associations with the underside of a mushroom and it is precisely this association that inspired the two designers Hallgeir Homstvedt and Jonah Takagi to create this decorative light source, whose white, pure light contributes to an atmospheric lighting concept in modern living areas. The lamella-like structure of the umbrella is worked into the plastic by hand. The traditional handicraft technique "Plica" is used. This folding technique requires great craftsmanship from the folding women and is used exclusively in the studio in Odense (Denmark). The two umbrella openings are each set off with a gold-coloured metal ring. The legendary LE KLINT folding umbrella originated at the beginning of the 20th century and was created by the architect and engineer P. V. Jensen-Klint.
