On the cylindrical base made of dark grey (RAL 7016) stainless steel sits a similarly shaped shade made of amber tinted glass, which lets the light of the inserted bulb (not included) radiate warmly and comfortably in all directions. The light source is visible through the tinted but transparent glass, which is why it is recommended to use a decorative filament lamp.
