The Makita GA023GZ is a 125mm cordless angle grinder powered by a 40Vmax XGT Li-Ion battery. The BL Brushless motor and XGT battery deliver powerful grinding and cutting similar to 1,000W class AC models. It is able to continuously perform heavy-duty cutting and grinding. This device features a variable speed control dial, an on/off switch, soft start and an electric brake. The tool-less wheel cover is adjustable to any desired position. It also comes with a host of safety measures that include anti-restart function and Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) that shuts down the tool if the rotation speed suddenly slows down. Finally, the GA023GZ has Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS) that connects to compatible dust extractors with Bluetooth. The dust extractor automatically runs while the switch is on.
