Oslo Wood gold-coloured floor lamp with a green gimbal lampshade The Oslo Wood floor lamp is a highlight of Nordic living culture with a lightly structured cloth lampshade in green that stands out impressively from the simple three-tone setting in gold, not only because of its colour but also because of its movability. A gimbal at the top of the tripod ensures that the lampshade can be swivelled around and thus be completely individually aligned. With this and the regulation of the brightness via the built-in dimmer switch, you can always create a different atmosphere. The Oslo Wood floor lamp was designed by Ove Rogne, founder and CEO of Northern. Rogne, who was actually a business consultant after his master's studies and graduating in economics, was driven by the desire to work more creatively. In 2005 he founded the lighting company Northern Lighting with three friends; in 2006 he created the award-winning Oslo Wood floor lamp.
