The cross-knurled pattern that adorns the lampshade all around and also the upper part of the cable sheathing on the shade, together with the monochromatic finish, gives the lamp a simple elegance. The textured Plexiglas diffuser creates sophisticated light reflections and projects a powerful beam of light downward. Austrian-born designer Marc Sadler, who works for numerous renowned lighting manufacturers, designed the Overfly luminaire series for OLEV, an Italian label for LED luminaires.
