LED pendant luminaire Draft with hand-blown spherical shade and opal inner reflector The LED pendant luminaire Draft is an object of contemporary conciseness. In the style of a classic spherical lamp, a light source with perfectly balanced light effect was created. A conical reflector is placed in the hand-blown glass shade, whose opal polycarbonate on the one hand forms a visual contrast to the transparent glass and on the other hand decisively influences the light effect. In this way, softly diffused ambient lighting is achieved all around. For example, a table located below is supplied with direct light, with a diffuser pane also providing uniform light diffusion. The LEDs integrated in the luminaire unit with its shiny aluminium housing ensure that the colours in the surroundings are reproduced very well. The steel cable suspension can be aligned without tools and the LED unit is replaceable thanks to a patented system. The Draft series is a design by Jean-Marc da Costa, the co-founder of serien.lighting.
