Outdoor luminaire Empty 4135/4136 combines functionality and architectural design Whether in a garden, on a terrace or at the side of a path - the outdoor luminaire Empty sets its surroundings in scene. It is made of robust polymer concrete that withstands any climate and also protects the attached LED strips from the weather. The upper surface of the light can be loaded up to a maximum of 150kg and its dimensions make it suitable as a seat or storage surface. This is because the light is not only intended for illumination but, true to the concept of "Furniture meets Light", combines the functionality of a piece of furniture with that of a lamp. The idea for the concept came from the Spanish manufacturer VIBIA, who engaged the designer Xuclà for the design of Empty. The designer has been working with VIBIA for many years and is characterised by architectural and minimalist creations. With Empty, he created a lighting concept that sets the stage for natural or urban environments by day and by night and was awarded the Best of Year Award in 2015.
